The Naylor Noggin (suitably filled) was awarded to John Deacon for the best log submitted last year describing a dinghy cruise by a member of the Dinghy Cruising Association. The prize winning log is printed here.

Entries for this year's competition should reach the Central Secretary by 31st October 1961.

It has also been suggested that the D.C.A. should hold a competition for the best account of a dinghy cruise submitted by anyone, whether or not a member. Before this suggestion can be put into effect we need a cup to present, and a collection is being made for this. Five shillings from each member would produce a small but respectable cup. Contributions should be sent to the Central Secretary.
