A member, P R Holding, has kindly donated these plans including instructions, for a large surf and fishing dory 22’ x 6’6”. This could be a useful boat for launching off a beach. It is designed to be built in plywood but would need ‘lofting’ first. As the plans have not been used the royalty is still valid for one craft. They are available on a ‘first come first served’ basis at £12.00 payable to the DCA, but you have to telephone the Technical Advisor first. Although the plans are from Capt. Jim Orrell, the Texas Dory man, the boat is almost certainly designed by Phil Bolger.
