John Baden has forwarded the newsletter of the society, to which the DCA contributes. They report useful work on planning approval for work at East Head, the future management of the Solent Special Area of Conservation, work on the Cobnor Activities Centre, and an application for potentially environmentally damaging developments at Dibden Bay, Southampton Water. We need such a body to monitor all the proposals for such important and sensitive areas as the Solent. Editor
