E COMMUNICATION

It is about time the DCA compiled a directory of members’ email addresses. My experience is that once one has the ability to communicate with and transmit documents to others it soon becomes the preferred option. E.g. Copies of Forth Pilot have been requested from me by email 11 times and from DCA library nil. Also, enquiries for info on the forthcoming Holy Island Rally have been received in the ratio 6:1 in favour of email.

Perhaps the incoming National Secretary should be the compiler of the directory and details could be distributed solely to DCA members on request (members will wish to avoid junk mail).

I don’t mind starting the ball rolling and members who wish to be included should email me on <edwingfield@yahoo.co.uk> and I will make a start, then hand over to the Sec in due course. EW
