EDITORIAL
For the first time for many years, this bulletin is not being prepared for printing by Peter Bick. He is one of those members on whose care and generosity with their time we rely to keep the DCA going. As President until 1997, as Technical Adviser, and as Publisher he has given unstintingly He has brought our traditional format into twenty first century technical mode. Now, alas, ill-health forces him to retire from his present posts. Please bear with us if this bulletin shows that we are not yet quite able to fill the breach.
Another officer who would appreciate help is our publicity expert, Ted Jones. Can anyone who would like to take part in his work in organising exhibits at exhibitions get in touch with him?
Because of the need to publicise any constitutional proposals in advance of the AGM, this Bulletin is going to press before some areas have decided on their rally programmes. These will have to be announced later. It is good to see the North East with a real sea-going cruise in company and it is a sign of the times that mobile phones are essential.
