Getting Knotted
A visit to the Portaferry Marine Museum (highly recommended) led to the acquisition of a tea towel, displaying a selection of knots. It prompted the thought that although whilst we had tied the knot many years ago, it had never occurred to me to ask “Which one"? Clearly not a Slip knot or a Half Hitch; my final conclusion was that “Till death us do part” meant it was a “wreath knot”
Has anyone a better solution?
PS: I always promised Joan I would produce a contribution to the Bulletin one day!
