Peter Bick’s death is a great loss to the DCA. He made a huge improvement in the bulletin as a published product and worked on it well nigh to the end.

Could the DCA committee produce some simple item recording our thanks for his service that could be presented to Mrs Bick?

Looking through my bits and pieces searching for something, I came across the enclosed lines * that were prompted some years ago by sitting in my little boat on Southend beach waiting for the tide to rise. Perhaps they might have some resonance for your readers?
