Free As The Wind
Those of you who grapple with “The Net” will remember www.SailingNow.com and remember my piece a few bulletins back (number 171) saying that although Sailing Now had gone, it’s place has been taken by Free as the Wind and is run by Jeremy Hoyland.
Pressure of work has meant that he’s been unable to update or add to the site for about a year, but he’s now back in business. If you look him up under either name, you’ll see that there’s a very nice piece about us which he’s written after getting a copy of our Bulletin.
I wrote and thanked him for it and asked if we in return could do anything for him. Jeremy’s reply was that he’s still seeking new material, cruises, odd experiences, hints, tips etc. preferably with pictures. So if any of you would like a wider audience than the DCA membership, you can send your articles, stories or what have you to him, by post, at:
Derbex Ltd 27 Willow Green Ingatestone Essex CM4 ODQ
(Note: this is a change of address from the previous one in Bulletin 171). You can e-mail him on HYPERLINK "mailto:fastw@dbx.co.uk" fastw@dbx.co.uk. As I’ve said before, there’s no payment but publicity will be given to the DCA.
