South West Rallies - 2003
In this region we have a starting time and place. The destination is decided on the day and depends on conditions, forecast and the wishes of the members.
16th - 17th August Plymouth
Meet at 1000hrs Saturday on the outside pontoon of Mayflower Marina which is at the mouth of the River Tamar, just south of the RN Dockyard.
13th - 14th September Salcombe
You can launch at Kingsbridge at the head of the estuary 2 hours either side of high tide (Sat 0800hrs - Sun 2045hrs), otherwise at Salcombe at all states of tide. This event could suit lightweight boats and canoes, as there is plenty to do without going to sea. For local information contact Alan & Jonquil Stapleton on 01548 857640.
To let me know if you are coming, and if you want to make use of our ‘care for your boat while you go ashore for the night’ scheme, please contact Aidan de Ia Mare on 01208 851853.
